Dog's Leap Panoramic Photo Gallery

Please browse through this gallery by looking the the various photo categories listed under the "Panoramas" menu item at the top of this screen. Archival quality fine art prints of most images are available at reasonable prices. Just click on an image thumbnail to check print sizes and prices.

Panoramas are created from a sequence of overlapping photos. Typically a series of seven to nine photos are taken in a row to cover a 100 to 180 degree field of view. Other "Mosaic" panoramas are formed from multiple rows of images. Those images are then "stitiched" together using special computer software to create a very high resolution composite image. Due to their high resolution, they can make exceptionally detailed prints in very large sizes, up to several feet wide.
